U Hostel – Madrid, Spain
When you hear the word ‘hostel’ you might automatically think dirty, weird, unsafe, nasty, and cheap. But none of these words describe Uhostel, in fact they are the exact opposite. I found out about this place from CNN.com which featured some of the best hostels in the world. Not only is it clean and safe, it’s located right in town within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and clubs.
Thanks to awesome staff members like Vivianna and Erica (twins) we learned about the culture and experienced it first hand in Madrid. The informative walking tour and club hopping made our stay the perfect mix of learning about the culture of Spanish people and passing out from partying with said people. That can only be balanced with a knowledgable guide.
If you visit Madrid and you’re looking for accomadations that resemble a 4 star hotel for 1/4 of the price, check them out. They have rooms for couples on up to large rooms to hold 8. Theres a cinema room, kitchen, bar, restaurant, and the cleanest bathrooms arounIt’s located about 2 blocks from the metro stop. Some essentials not to forget: a lock, some towels, and shower shoes. If you forget any of these items, they can be purchased at the front desk.
